About SCA
Classical education emphasizes teaching students how to think, not just what to think. It follows the natural stages of child development—building knowledge in the early years, fostering understanding in the middle years, and encouraging wisdom and thoughtful expression as students mature.​

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian program, SCA teaches through a Biblical worldview. We seek to instill a love for truth, cultivate deep thinking, and help students grow in wisdom while learning about the love of Jesus.

While tuition is our primary income source, it is intentionally set below the actual cost of providing a robust classical, hybrid Christian education. About 80% of tuition goes directly to staff, and the remaining portion must stretch to cover facility rental, insurance, curriculum, safety, and operations.
Fundraising allows us to maintain excellence, expand mission-driven services such as reading intervention and curriculum support, invest in safety and compliance, and keep tuition accessible for families.

This year’s gala supports several key needs identified in our school’s assessment: meeting the growing demand to serve students with learning disabilities and special needs, expanded student scholarships, classroom resources and curriculum upgrades, and increased support for our teachers and programs.
The Under the Oaks Gala is Seneca Classical Academy’s premier evening of Southern elegance, celebrating the mission God has entrusted to our school—forming students who love Jesus, serve others, and are thankful.
