Lorrie Zelmer, Board Secretary & Lower School Representative
Lorrie Zelmer knew at a very early age that God was calling her to minister to children. Over the years, she has used her gifts, talents, and abilities to minister to children in many different ways, including leading a small group in the kid’s ministry at her church, ministering to her own children while staying at home, and serving as co-president of a Parent Teacher Committee. Lorrie has 16 years of experience teaching in both public and private education and was voted Volunteer of Year in 2020 at her children’s school. She holds a BS in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Clemson University. In addition to teaching kindergarten, she also has the privilege of homeschooling her own children.
Lorrie loves nothing more than spending time with her family. In their free time, they enjoy hiking to nearby waterfalls, vacationing on Hilton Head Island, and worshipping at Foothills Church. She has no greater joy than to see children walking in truth, and is excited to see the eternal impact that Seneca Classical Academy will make on our community.
