Education isn’t neutral. Every subject, every book, every classroom moment is an opportunity to shape the heart and worldview of a child. That’s why at Seneca Classical Academy, we don’t just “add in” a Bible class—we build everything on the foundation of the Bible.

But what does the Bible actually say about how we should educate our children? Where does education begin?

Here are just a few guiding truths:

  • Parents are called to disciple their children. “You shall teach them diligently to your children…” (Deuteronomy 6:7)

  • What we teach our children matters. “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

  • The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge…” (Proverbs 1:7)

  • Children are a gift and a stewardship. “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord…” (Psalm 127:3)

At SCA, we seek to align every aspect of learning with a biblical worldview—not just because it’s “Christian,” but because it’s true. Our program is also designed to partner with parents who want to provide their children with a rigorous and Christ-centered education.

We’re not just raising scholars. We’re raising the next generation to love Jesus, serve others, and be thankful.
